WEDDING RINGS

What's involved...

In this approximately four hour class you will make your very own wedding rings together. Before the date, we will have an in-person or online consultation to discover what style you would like to create and to get an idea of dimensions which will allow a quote for materials to be given. The class will cost £345 per couple plus your precious metals. We shall make your rings in 100% recycled silver or gold with the option to be hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office which includes the metal fineness mark, a little castle for Edinburgh and a letter which signifies the year. Hallmarking takes around 10-14 days. Material costs can be between £200 and £2000 depending on metal fineness and size so we can be sure to suit your budget. As precious metal prices are subject to fluctuation, please get in touch for an estimate. Should you desire, photographs can be taken throughout your session for you to keep as a reminder, and proof to friends and family! Included: Consultation to discuss your designs. Use of workspace and all tools. Preparation of your metals ready to be formed on the day. Tuition to guide you through the process from start to finish. Tea break refreshments. Photos of your day. Fairtrade linen ring bags with logo. There are some optional add-ons for you including: Hallmarking £30 per ring. Engraving from £30. Ring boxes hand-made from local birch wood £35. Picnic lunch from our amazing local bakery. Suitable for beginners. All you need to bring are glasses if needed and everything else will be provided for you. Note when booking, one participant equates to a couple.
